1. A Quiet Place (2018)

A Quiet Place is a story that follows a family that needs live in silence because of mysterious creatures that hunt you by sounds. To me the scariest part in movies is when it’s really quiet and there’s something sudden and loud that happens. This movie is full of those moments if you love a jump scare.

2. Paranormal Activity (2007)

Paranormal Activity is that classic scary movie that we all know about. They currently have seven movies out so it’s a very successful series. If you’re into more of the haunting side of movies versus a jump scare then the Paranormal Activity series is meant for you.

3. House At The End Of The Street (2012)

The House At The End Of the Street is the first horror film that I really liked! I think it’s because it has a little more to do with mystery and you really don’t know what’s going to happen unlike other movies where you just know most of them will die. I think I liked this one a lot because it reminds me a little bit of Criminal Minds where you’re trying to figure out what happened. In this movie we’re trying to figure out what happened to make that girl kill her parents and where did she disappear to?

4. The Descent (2005)

This movie starts at a year after an emotional trauma. A girl named Sarah decides to go exploring some underground caves with her friends. However, when they descend they quickly see that there are strange cave paintings and that they aren’t alone. And the worst part is these creatures have a taste for human flesh.

6. Halloween (1978)

This movie starts with a 6 year old boy who kills his 17 year old sister. While being transported 15 years later he escapes and returns to his old small town looking for his next victims.
