Winter can often get us a little down in the dumps when it gets cold so I wanted to make myself a winter to do list. My list consists of things I want to do like activities and places I want to go. Most of the ones I accomplish will probably have a blog post that follows. Hope you enjoy and it gives you some ideas for what you would like to do this winter.
- Go outdoor skating
- Visit the Edmonton Ice Castles
- Go sledding
- Learn to ski
- Visit the Mountains Banff and/or Jasper
- Go snow shoeing at Elk Island
- Go to an Edmonton Oilers hockey game
- Lots of winter baking
- Find better driving gloves
I definitely want to go to the mountains this winter but before I go I really want to learn how to ski! My boyfriend Johnny can ski and he’s gone skiing down the mountains and I’m so jealous! Edmonton also has tons of outdoor skating rinks and sledding hills so I’d like to try a few of those out. I definitely need better driving gloves. Just a few days ago it was -37C not including the wind chill, and my hands were freezing while driving to work. I have one pair of gloves that won’t slide on the steering wheel but they aren’t warm enough. I want to find an inexpensive pair or warm driving gloves so let me know if you have any suggestions!

Last year my boyfriend attempted to teach me to snowboard… It didn’t go so well lol. Might try skiing this Winter as well! I’m just over in Toronto! Have a great winter season 🙂
