Amazing At Home Arm Workout

Just like me I’m sure there are endless people out there trying to improve their appearance. And for a lot of us the budget and time for the gym is not always there. I used to always workout at home and then I decided to get a gym membership. It was so hard to find the time to go there and honestly it was a it waste of money for me. That’s why I wanted to share this amazing at home arm workout with you.

Now I’m back to working out at home and I’m already so much more successful than I was when I had my gym membership! In today’s post I will be letting you know about my go to arm workout. When I do arms this is the workout that I do. The only equipment needed for this arm workout is weights. I just use 5 pound weights. You can start out with 5 pounds as well and work your way up when you start getting stronger.

Cardio Warmup

I always start my workout with a cardio warmup. I used to use this video (    ). It’s a great quick warmup before your workout. However, I found a great deal on an exercise bike so now I do 20 minutes on the bike before my workout. Make sure to always do some sort of warmup to get your heartbeat going and get your muscles ready.

Arm Workout

For each of these exercises I will be explaining I would suggest starting out at 3 sets of 15 reps. Once you get stronger you can definitely increase your sets and reps but I think this is a good start.
Tricep extension

For this first exercise you can either use just one weight or cross 2 together and hold them both. You start by the weight straight up in the air. Straighten both of your arms and then bend the to put the weight behind your head.
Inchworm

For the inchworm you will start standing straight up and then bend over placing your hands on the ground and walking your hands out until you are in push up position. Next walk your hands back towards yourself and start over.

Bicep curls

Bicep curls are a pretty easy one. Start with your weights by your side an bend your arms up.

Chair dip

For the chair dip you can use a chair, bench, or couch. Face away from it with your feet extended and your hands on the chair. Then you can dip your body up and down.

Plank to push up

For this exercise you start in the plank position. If you don’t know the plant position rest on your elbows and straighten  you body and hold up with the rest of your body with your toes. The one hand at a time go to the push up position and back to the plank position one hand at a time.

Lateral raise

For the lateral raise start with your weights by your side like you did with your bicep curls and straighten your arms out to the side making a 90 degree angle with your arms and body.

Tricep Kickback

For this exercise bend over slightly with a straight back and knees slightly bent. Hold the weights by your side and then extend straight back so they are parallel with your upper body and repeat.
Push Up Tap
Amazing At Home Arm Workout
For this next exercise you will be in the push up position and one arm at a time tap your chest with each hand 15 times.

 

And there is your super easy and amazingly effective at home arm workout. Hope you use it and get those strong arm muscles that you’ve been wanting.
