One of my favorites things about Christmas is the decorations, So, I’ve decided to show you some great decorations you can get to make your house very festive this year.

Tree
A Christmas tree has to be the most important decoration! It’s what all the rest of your decorations are surrounding and the decor is based off of.
Tree Ornaments
Of course when it comes to your Christmas tree you have to have some great ornaments to go on it. A few years ago I had a gold theme on my tree and now I have a blue and silver theme.
Lights
Lights are an absolute must for that cute cozy feel around Christmas time. You can put lights on your tree and your house but you can also go as far as to put them places like on a mantel, dresser, head board, etc.
Advent Calendars
I love advent calendars of all types. You can have a chocolate advent calendar, decorative advent calendar (below), makeup advent calendar and more! I currently have one that has a chalkboard your write on for the days and the board says days till Santa comes which I think is so cute.
Outdoor Decorations
I love to drive around neighborhoods to looks at all the Christmas decorations. We have lights on our house but I really want to look into getting a light up reindeer for the yard like the ones below.
Pillows
Putting out some decorative pillows is a quick and easy way to insert some holiday spirit into your home. I want all the pillows I have listed below but I don’t think my fiance would be okay with that unfortunately.
Blankets
Some festive blankets are a great idea when decoration. You can get a festive comforter for you bedroom or some get throw blankets for your couch to cuddle up with while watching Christmas movies.
Stockings
Stockings are also a must for decorating. They look so great hung up at a fireplace. In my new house I don’t have a fireplace to hang them up at anymore so I hang them up on a high cabinet in our dinning room and they still look great.
Tree Skirt
Tree skirts are also such a great touch when it comes to the decor of a Christmas tree. It just makes everything cozier and cutter. The one I have under my tree right now is white with some snowflakes on it and my cat loves to sleep under it anytime she can.
