Author
Hannah Grace is the #1 New York Times bestselling English author of Icebreaker, Wildfire, and Daydream. She currently has two dogs and loves to read from her enormous TBR.
Plot
Clara Davenport wants to solve Fraser Falls’s biggest problem. According to Jack Kelly, Clara is Fraser Falls’s biggest problem.
All Clara has ever wanted is to climb the ladder at Davenport Innovation Creative, her families toy company. Everything was going according to plan until the company was accused of stealing a doll design from an independent toy maker in viral videos creating a PR nightmare. Clara’s father promises her the promotion she wants if she goes to Fraser Falls to charm the locals and get the videos taken down.
Jack would be happy to never hear the name Davenport ever again. Less than a year after being promised everything he’s ever wanted for his doll design by signing with Davenports small business program, they copied his design and sell it as their own. So when Clara comes to town trying to convince everyone that her families company isn’t the enemy, Jack is determined to protect the town not to be fooled by Davenport again.
Quotes
“I was only saying I think I believe in love now. Or maybe witchcraft. Hard to tell.”
“I plan on falling madly in love with you, Clara Davenport. And I’d really like it if you were around to see it.”
My Review
When I saw that Hannah Grace’s new book had arrived in my mailbox I was so excited. I absolutely loved the Maple Hills series and was so excited to get into a Holiday book written by her. The small town vibes where everyone knows everyone and their business was so cute and reminded me a lot of Gilmore Girls with their town meetings. It also feels a lot like a hallmark movie with the city girl and the boy from a small town and of course is around Christmas time. The vast characters in this book were everything I hoped them to be and I have absolutely no notes for them and this sweet town. I loved the progression of Jack and Clara’s relationship and the struggles they endured together and apart. I absolutely adored this holiday romance and easily rate it 5/5 stars and recommend it to anyone looking for a cute holiday romance to read.
And that’s the end of my Holiday Ever After by Hannah Grace book review. If you read this book let me know in the comments and if you loved it as much as I did.
