My Review
Offside has been on my list of books to read for a while and I’m so happy I finally got to it. I’m a sucker for a hockey romance and this book was exactly what I was hoping for. I love an enemies to lovers, forbidden romance and the fact that Chase is Bailey’s ex-boyfriend Luke’s rival just makes it that much better. I loved watching Bailey grow and learn to put herself first and build herself back up after a horrible relationship. It’s nice to see her get what she needs from a partner. Seeing Chase go from not being a relationship guy to being all about Bailey was so fun to read. He really became what all girls want in a boyfriend, especially after being with someone like Luke. I adored this book and rate a 4/5 stars. I can’t wait to read the second book in the series Shutout which follows Chase’s roommate Ty.
And that’s the end of my Offside by Avery Keelan book review. If you read this book let me know in the comments and if you loved it as much as I did. If you’re looking for other books to read check out these reviews: One Golden Summer, The Bonus, and For The Record.
