Brewster’s Mountain Lodge Hotel Review

This past weekend my boyfriend Johnny and I decided to take a trip to Banff to enjoy some beautiful winter views! We also wanted to find a great hotel to do a review on as there are so many great placed to stay in Banff! The hotel we decided to stay at was Brewster’s Mountain Lodge. So here is a Brewster’s Mountain Lodge hotel review for you to decide if this hotel is a good fit for what you want.

Location

The Brewster’s Mountain Lodge hotel is in the perfect location. It’s located in the town of Banff just a walk away from everything you need. You step outside and you have shopping, views, and food right at your fingertips. This hotel is also one of the closest if not the closest to my favorite cafe’s and restaurants so it’s the perfect place in my opinion. I also like that it’s not right on Banff avenue. It’s slightly off so there is a little less car and foot traffic than right on Banff avenue. This means a little more privacy on your balcony which is great.

Staff

I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was at the Brewster’s Mountain Lodge hotel! We were greeted by the very friendly staff at the front desk. We were also really impressed by how friendly the staff was when we passed them in the halls.

Room

Our room at Brewster’s Mountain Lodge was absolutely spectacular. We ended up getting upgraded to a loft room. The first thing I noticed when walking into the room was how warm it was. I loved how warm and cozy this room was because I was really needing to defrost after being outside for so long in the cold winter air. Also, the fact that this gives you a lodge feel also makes me warm up a bit.

The bathroom was very spacious with a jet tub and there is also tons of space there for your jackets and shoes. On the main floor there is a living room and a huge window with a door to the patio. The patio is a lot bigger than I expected and has great views of the surrounding mountains. Then there’s some stairs that lead you up to the loft with the super comfortable king size bed and TV. I must say I did have a great sleep at this hotel. The hotel also had a really great continental breakfast as well as some cute common areas!

Hikes:

Places to eat Nearby

The two cafe’s I’ve gone to near the Brewster’s Mountain Lodge hotel is Whitebark Cafe and Evenlyn’s Coffee Bar. Both are fantastic! My boyfriend and I are definitely more into the pub kind of restaurant. The two that I really like are Banff Ave Brewing Co. and Elk & Oarsman Pub & Grill. The food at all these places are great and I definitely recommend them!
