Favorite Summer Beauty Trends

Now that summer is here I’m so excited for the new beauty trends. I’ve been keeping an eye out for runways and celebrities and I’ve come up with a list of my favorite beauty trends this year.

Bright Eyes

With all the bright colors in the summer of things such as flowers and clothes options, I also love to add some color to my eyes. This can be done with either some colorful eye shadow or with colorful eyeliner or even both! 48 eye shadow palette here.

Bronzer

Bronzer is of course a must during the summer months! I find my skin looks so much better and healthier when its more tan. And one way I can achieve this is by using bronzer. Make sure to always use sunscreen to protect your skin. You can always use fake tanner and/or bronzer to give that gorgeous bronze glow we all want. My go to inexpensive bronzer here.

Glitter

Glitter is a trend I don’t use much of except for beauty products. I love to use glitter in my products. This can be in eye shadow, highlight, bronzer, etc.

Perfect Skin

We all want that gorgeous perfect skin. And one way to make it seem that way is by using a foundation to cover up imperfections. I am really not a fan of most foundations because I find them very heavy. I like the light foundations, especially in the summer months.

Statement Lips

I use statement lips a lot during the winter months but I’ve recently been loving this trend in the summer as well. I stick more towards a pink or a light red for this trend. Lipstick set here.

Hair Barrettes

Hair barrettes are a trend I’ve been seeing come back a lot lately. I think they are such a cute accessory and great for summer to keep your hair out of your face and out of your way. 20 piece barrette set here.

Bright Nails

Bright nails has always been my go to beauty trend for the summer. My current favorite is an aqua blue color called Mint Candy by Essie. I’ve been wearing that one a lot for far this year. 25 nail polishes here.
