Crop Top And Leggings

My go to look with a plaid shirt is with a crop top and leggings. It’s the ultimate comfort look and can look very nice as well. I sometimes wear this look with the plaid shirt completely open but I also like wearing it tied up in the front. This is actually the exact outfit I wore while taking a walk on a beautiful fall afternoon in downtown Edmonton.

Another way you can wear this if it’s warm enough is by tying it around your waist. If it’s not warm enough you can wear a longer shirt to still achieve this look without being too cold.

Jeans

Another way to wear a plaid shirt would be with jeans. My favorite way to wear it this way would be to tuck in only the front portion of the shirt. Another great way to wear this would be by tying the shirt around your waist. I think this look is cutest when also wearing something like a white shirt.

This look can also be really cute if you tie up your plaid shirt in the front while wearing it. This way you can still see the nice features of your jeans. Another way to also see the top of your jeans would be to leave the buttons open in front.

And those are some of the best ways on how to style a plaid shirt. You can take something as simple as a pair of leggings and wear it so many different ways.
