Today I will be reviewing the turtle bath jelly from Lush. This bath jelly is the shape of a Turtle in the colors blue and green. When I saw this one in store I knew I had to get it! It’s so adorable looking and I just couldn’t pass it up.
Smell
The smell of this bath bomb wasn’t overwhelmingly strong which I liked. The smell itself was very fresh and reminded me of the outdoors or the water. Some smells can be so intense but this one was very relaxing.
Sparkles
Some products from Lush can be very heavy on the sparkles, this one wasn’t. I didn’t have sparkles left in my tub like I usually so with a lot of their bath bombs. Which is a great thing because I often forget to clean the sparkles out of the tub haha
Color
I thought the green color this bath jelly made was a very nice and dark green. If you like the lighter colors you might not like this one as much. Every now and then I do like to have a darker color to my bath. I very often go for the lighters colors so this one was a nice change.
Dissolve
I’m not much of a fan that you need to help dissolve the bath jelly’s. I think I would prefer a bath bomb that just does it’s own thing. It left little green pieces in my tub during my entire bath and honestly it kind of grossed me out. Definitely didn’t like that part. Because the water was already green and then had floating green pieces in it; it kind of reminded me of murky water or something like that. Maybe next time I will just do better at helping it dissolve.
Final Thoughts
Overall this Lush Turtle Bath Jelly was nice but I would prefer to use a bath bomb instead. Lush just has so many bath bombs that I absolutely love so if I’m going to repurchase one I will get something I’m in love with. Final score is 4/5.
I haven’t tried the bath jelly yet. I love the green color it turns the water.
It was the first one I tried 🙂
I haven’t tried their bath jelly yet but I don’t love the idea of bits floating around with you. I do love their bath bombs though!
Ya I think I needed to run it under the water better to get rid of those!
He’s very cute! I love the colours it produces as well 🙂

So glad 🙂
I’ve never tried a bath jelly before. It’s so cute! I wonder if they are safe for toddlers.
That’s a good question! I’ve never looked into before because I don’t have kids but I know Lush is a very natural company so possibly. Should definitely do some research first though
