We all love to travel, but sometimes packing can be both annoying and stressful. Because I’ve done so much traveling I’ve learned some very important packing tips that I’m going to be sharing with you today with these packing tips for travel.

Space
Working with the space you have in your suitcase can sometimes be difficult. The first thing I do to save space is to roll my clothes. Rolling clothes takes up less room as well as helps with wrinkles. Another way to save space is to use packing cubes. They help to compact all you clothes and make space for more items. Make sure to leave as much space as you can because depending on where your going you may want to leave some space for shopping.
Another essential is knowing the maximum weight per bag for your airline. The first way to make sure you have enough space as well as are under the maximum weight is to take things out of your suitcase. I’m always over packing so I always take things out once I’m done packing. Next up is by using miniature version of things such as shampoo and conditioner. You can find these are your local drug mart. You can also buy little containers you can re-use and put your own product in, which is what I do. This will save you a lot of eight. And lastly, I would make sure to put any essentials you don’t want to lose in case your baggage is lost should be put in your carry on.
Organization
The greatest piece of advice I can give you when it comes to packing is organization. A least a week before I leave I start making a checklist in the notes app on my phone. It’s a good idea to start this a little bit in advance because if you forget something the moment you write the list you may remember it a few days later and still won’t forget it for your trip.
I would also suggest to start the packing process as early in advance as you can. If it’s currently winter and your traveling somewhere hot this is definitely achievable. I’ve also recently started putting all my bathroom stuff including shampoo, curling iron, makeup, etc. into a bag inside my suitcase. Now everything is easier to find and I can just take this one bag to the bathroom and have everything I need.
The last tip I have isn’t so much for space or organization but it is a must! I put a dryer sheet inside my suitcase. This keeps my clothes feeling fresh during my entire vacation. Can also be a must if your traveling with multiple pairs of shoes as well.
And those are all my packing tips for travel. Hope you found some useful information and you enjoy your trip!

Hi there
Thank you for a lovely post.
Packing – although I haven’t really travelled much outside the country (Denmark) – can be so stressful. I’d love to travel more, maybe go on a plane one day, so that thing with the airport was a good fact for me.
My girlfriend actually rolls the clothes when we pack for family visits and I didn’t believe it would make a difference – so incase any readers here are sceptic like I was – it DOES help! 😊
And taking notes prior – even if the trip ain’t going that far away is also key ti less stress (and not forgetting stuff😂)
Have an amazing day🌸
So glad it helped you! No joke I’ve come home from university to visit my family and forgot to pack pants… always make a list haha
Great post…will surely use the tips when I travel next time
I’m so glad 🙂
