I don’t know about you but I am so happy that summer is just around the corner! Being in Canada it seems like it’s about 10 months of Winter and 2 of summer so you could say that summer is my favorite season haha. One thing I’m excited about is the summer fashion trends that will be popping up. I’ve complied a list of some of my favorite trends that I’ve noticed so far on runways, and celebrities, etc for you to see.

2 Piece Sets
The first trend is 2 piece sets. These are similar to rompers in the way that the top and bottoms have the same print or style. However, they are not attached. I really like the ones that have a little bit of a cropped top so you can really tell that it is two separate pieces.
Tie-Dye
Tie-Dye is definitely a new trend I wasn’t expecting. I used to wear a lot of tie-dye as a child and would even make my own. But as we’ve noticed in the recent years, a lot of trends from the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s have been coming back just like this one.
Orange
I’m so happy that the color orange is a trend this year. It’s such a fun and happy color. I also love that it’s very much a sunset color and that’s what these outfits remind me of.
Longer Shorts (Bike)
This trend really came out of no where and now it’s all over the place! I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this trend but I have to say it’s really grown on me and I am loving it.
Utility
Utility is a trend I’ve always loved so I’m so glad it’s in season this year. There are so many different ways to go about this trend which is one of the reasons I love it the most. And of course the green earthy tones are to die for. This will always be one of my favorite summer fashion trends.
Bows
Bows have recently been showing up on runways and I’m loving them. They bring such a cute and sweet element to an outfit. A bow can just instantly make the outfit a little girlier, which is why I’m loving this trend.
Animal Print
I’m so excited to try out more animal print in my wardrobe. They can really be amazing statement pieces and I’m looking for more of that this summer. This trend is just really a fun one to implement.
Lavender
The color lavender is a trend I wasn’t really expecting but am all for. I love the paleness of this color and how soft it makes the outfit look. I’m excited to implement this color into my wardrobe.
Colored Tartan/Plaid
I’m very excited for this trend. This has been mostly seen on just button up shirts but there are so many more options now. My absolute favorite way to wear this trend would have to be pants. They all look so amazing.
Bucket Hat
I am loving the look of bucket hats. They look great on so many different people and are such a great accessory. They will also help to shield your face from the sun which is very important these days. This is definitely a new favorite summer fashion trend for me.
