Books To Read
One of the running lists I have going constantly is books to read. I’ve recently got back into reading a lot more and have a huge list of books I want to read. I keep this list going on Goodreads. It’s a great way to find new books and see what books you’re friends are reading. If you want to add me as a friend on Goodreads and see what books I like you can add me here. A lot of the books I read are either romance or murder mystery so if those interest you check out my books to read list.
Another way I find some books to read is from the YouTuber Chelsea Trevor. She reads a lot of books and we have very similar taste in books. Check out her book recommendations to see if there are some you can add to your list too.
Movies To Watch
Some more useful lists to make is of movies you want to watch. There are constantly movies coming out and a great way to make sure you watch all the ones you’re interested in is by making a list of them. You can even add movies that are coming out months away with dates so you don’t forget about them.
Travel Bucket List
A travel bucket list is a list I have so many versions of. I even have a couple versions as blog posts. I also have more personal travel bucket lists including possibly honeymoon locations and just places all around to world I want to travel to.
Best Memories
A great list to make to improve your mood is your best memories. It will be a great time creating this list and it’s something you can look back on as often as you want. Especially when you’re feeling down to help improve your mood.
Skills You Want To Learn
I think making a list of skills you want to learn can be so much fun. There are so many possible skills you can try out so a great way to start is by making a list of all the skills you’re interested in trying out.
Food And Restaurants To Try
There are so many different types of food you can try out and so many restaurants you can pick from. I personally have endless restaurants I want to try near where I live so I think having a list would be a great idea so when I’m wondering what or where to eat.
Hobbies To Try Out
Similar to skills there are endless hobbies out there to try out. Make a list of anything that you’re interested in and then try a couple out to see what hobbies you like.
Things That Make You Happy
I think making a list of things that make you happy is so important. It’s a way to remind yourself of the good things in your life and a great thing to have when you’re feeling down.
Ways To De-stress
A list of ways to de-stress is something that I really need to do. I find myself getting stressed our really easily and not knowing how to fix that. Having a list of ways to de-stress can be so hopeful and I think it’s important for me to have and for you too.
Ways To Practice Self Care
Another idea of lists to make is ways to practice self care. There are so many ways to do this and what works for you may be different than what works for me. I personally don’t have an official list of ways to practice self care, just a list in my head but would love to make a real list to reference back to.
Goals You Want To Achieve
I love making a list of goals you want to achieve. There are so many ways you can do this and I personally have multiple versions of this list. Some versions of goal lists I have are personal, money, and work.
Things You Love About Someone
A great way to show someone you love them is by making a list full of the reasons you love them. You can also do this for multiple people in your life that you love.
Things You’re Grateful For
A great way to boost your mood is to make a list of things you’re grateful for. It doesn’t have to be thanksgiving for you to recognize what what you’re grateful for. This is also another list that’s great to look back on later.
People You Admire
A great way to recognize amazing people is by making a list of people you admire. These can be people you know personally or people you just know of and admire.
Your Strengths
I think it’s a great idea to make a list of your strengths to remind yourself of all the things you’re great at. I personally sometimes need a reminder of my strengths so if you’re like me this may be a good idea for you too.
Habits To Adopt
Habits to adopt is such an important list to have. I’ve been slowly incorporating small habits into my daily life to improve my life and productivity. Some habits can be making your bed everyday, meal prepping or anything else you want. To Do List
I’m one of those people who has a constant running to do list that’s endlessly long. Daily I add more to my to do list then I get done. I however, love having a do to list because otherwise, I’ll forget about the things I need to get done.
Meal Planning
Another growing list you can have going is a meal planning list. Keeping a list of possible meals you can meal plan makes it so much easier when that time goes to make your food for the week.
Gift Ideas
If you ever had difficultly coming up with gift ideas in the moment having a running gift idea list can be a great thing to have. You can simply have a list full of gift ideas or you can also have names on that list and add gift ideas next to the names of those people.
Birthdays
One thing I plan on doing soon is compiling a list of the birthdays of all my friends and family. I want to make sure everyone feels special on their birthday so I need to make sure I don’t forget their birthdays first. One way I think I will be making this list is by using an app on my phone to give me reminders.
Things You Don’t Do Enough
I love the idea of making a list of things you don’t do enough to remind yourself to do them often. These can be things like going for walks, seeing friends, reading, etc.
Seasonal Bucket List
I love having a seasonal bucket list made with each new season. I do make these lists quite often actually. These can be things like for example in winter you want to go skating, sledding and try out a new cafe. I find I make these lists a lot and they help me to do the things I want to do that season.
Quotes
The last idea I have for you of lists to make is a list of quotes. These can be inspirational quotes, friendship quotes, love quotes or any other quotes you want. I have a post of girl boss quotes if you want to check those out for some inspiration of quotes to add to your list.
