I was thinking about all the places to visit in Paris, France and decided a great idea would be to share all of the best things to do in Paris France with you too. Paris is such a romantic city but it also has tons of culture and amazing buildings to see which I will be teaching you about.

If you’re wondering where to stay check out the Hotel Parisianer. This hotel has stylish gorgeous rooms and is located in the 12th arrondissement which is close to both the Louvre Museum and the Notre Dame Cathedral.

1. Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower Paris

Let’s start this list of things to do in Paris with the one I’m sure you all know about, the Eiffel Tower. If you don’t know, the Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower located in the Champ de Mars in Paris. A little interesting fact about the Eiffel Tower is that it’s actually named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel. I would consider going to the top of the Eiffel Tower one of the most romantic things to do in Paris. This is also a Paris attraction you can see both at day or night. I personally visited in the day and took pictures in front of it and then went to the top that night.

2. Louvre Museum

Louvre Museum Paris

The Louvre Museum is the largest museum in the world. It’s located on the right bank of the Seine river in Paris. I’m sure you’ve all seen pictures of people in Paris with that large pyramid looking structure; that’s the Louvre Museum. I remember going here when I was in Paris and being shocked at how big the museum was even though I knew it was the largest in the world. There is so much to see in the Louvre but specifically you can see the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is behind bullet proof glass and was actually a little difficult to see because it’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be and of course, there were a lot of people surrounding it trying to see it.

3. Notre Dame de Paris

Notre Dame Paris

The Notre Dame de Paris a medieval Catholic cathedral located on the Île de la Cité in Paris. You may not know this but the translation for the Notre Dame de Paris is Our Lady of Paris. The architecture of this cathedral is amazing inside and out and is definitely worth seeing. However, the Notre Dame did burn down in early 2019 but is being rebuilt. Once it’s rebuilt it’s a must see on your trip to Paris.

The Palace of Versailles is located in the department of Yvelines which is about 20 km southwest of the center of Paris. The Palace of Versailles was the main royal residence from 1682 to 1789. 9. Paris Bike Tour

Another exciting way to see Paris is by going on a bike tour. There are so many to choose from and this is another great way to see the city. Also, there are a lot of places in Paris that just let you rent bikes if you’d rather go on your own. Either way both are great. I went on a bike tour when I went to Paris and I loved that we went through small streets and could see little shops we probably wouldn’t without going on the bike tour.

10. Chocolate Tour and Tasting

Another interesting thing to do in Paris is to go on a chocolate tasting tour. Obviously this is a tasty idea but I went to pastry school and know that chocolate is so complicated. It’s something that would be so fun to learn about and see how they make everything they do.

The Père Lachaise Cemetery is located in the 20th arrondissement in Paris. It’s the largest cemetery in Paris and has over 3.5 million visitors every year. There are quite a few more famous people in this cemetery so I recommend looking them up and seeing what they’re famous for then finding them in this cemetery.

Another great place to visit is Disneyland. It’s only about 32km from the center of Paris. Disneyland is always fun for adults or children so I would recommend checking out Disneyland if you can while you’re traveling in Paris.
