Josie Spencer is determined to make this new start in New York City count. She lives for the simple things in life; pizza, music, movies, and capturing the world through her camera lens. But true love? That’s not a priority.
Grayson Harlow is anything but simple. He’s gorgeous, and brilliant but he’s trapped in his family business along with their legacy. When he Grayson meets Josie by chance in Vegas he’s stuck by their instant chemistry. Unfortunately, she’s completely off limits for too many reasons.
Months later, when Josie finds out Grayson is her new billionaire boss, their chemistry is impossible to deny and becomes dangerous. Now Josie needs to decide if she should fight for the career she’s worked so hard for, or gamble it all for the man she can’t resist.
Finding Beauty

Some of the greatest love stories come from a second chance.

She’s determined to stand on her own two feet and not look back. But when her new job brings her face to face with the man who broke her heart, she can’t help but relive the heartbreak all over again.
Scott Black isn’t the reckless boy with a troubled past anymore. Now he’s wealthy, powerful, and everything he dreamed of being. But to Melanie, he’s still the seventeen year old boy her broke her heart and disappeared.
Their chemistry is still undeniable, but their past is impossible to forget. Old wounds begin to surface as the lines between them blur. Melanie has to decide if she should hold onto this heartbreak or risk everything for a second chance with the only man she’s ever really loved.
Saving Soul

Cassidy Ryan is a strong, devoted widow and single mother to her son Finn. She’s doing everything she can to get them back on her feet. So when an amazing opportunity as an end-of-life doula arrises for an elderly billionaire she jumps to take the job. Everything is going great and she can see the life she wants for her son in sight, until she comes face-to-face his infuriating grandson.
Adam Harlow is a cold, ruthless, businessman who has no patience for the woman he thinks is scamming his grandfather. When he realizes that woman is the one he spent one unforgettable night with only weeks ago before she snuck out, he’s furious.
Their connection is electric, but Cassidy isn’t willing to risk the life she wants to give her son, for the womanizer she can’t get out of her head. Passion pulls them closer, bringing along grief and secrets. Cassidy needs to decide if she should protect her future, or risk it all for the man she was never meant to fall for.
My Review
When I read the synopsis of Capturing Love I was so excited to read about Josie and Grayson’s forbidden romance. Ann Penny is a new author to me but I absolutely loved her writing and can’t wait to read more from her in the future. The way she wrote Grayson and Josie’s story was incredible and I loved every twist and turn. Seeing the way Grayson opened his eyes to everything he could have because of Josie’s love and support was so sweet in this different world romance. Seeing Josie stand up for herself in the world that she didn’t belong in was great. I love reading about a strong female lead and her impact on others around her. I rate this book 4/5 stars and recommend it to anyone who likes forbidden love, workplace, billionaire romances.
After reading Capturing Love I was apprehensive about reading Finding Beauty because of how Melanie was portrayed in the book. A good portion of the start of this book focuses on the start of Melanie and Scott’s relationship when they were teenagers and I’m so glad it did because it made me love them as a couple and root for their second chance at love. Melanie and Scott had difficult upbringings is very different ways. I love seeing them as adults and breaking away from their past to thrive on their own and together. I loved this book and rate it a 4/5 stars. I would recommend this book to lovers of second chance, forbidden love, and billionaire romances.
Reading the past two books and learning a little about Adam in them I was so excited to read his story in Saving Soul. Adam is the classic gruff man who swears he’ll never settle down. This is a favourite trope of mine. Seeing the man change everything he had planned for his life when he meets the one he was never looking for. Cassidy is such a likeable character. She’s doing everything for her son and pushing through her struggles. I loved seeing her work so hard and learn that she can ask for help too, she doesn’t need to do it all alone. Cassidy and Adam’s connection was so intense, there was no denying it. Seeing them go from one night stand, to enemies, to friends, and then to lovers was everything I wanted from this book. I really enjoyed this last book in the series and rate it 4/5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who loves one night stand, opposites attract, and enemies to lovers romances.
And that’s the end of my Love, Beauty & Soul by Ann Penny book series review. If you read this book let me know in the comments and if you loved it as much as I did.
