One of my favorite TV shows is Gossip Girl. I’ve re-watched it so many times and will continue to re-watch it. New York is also one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. Because of this I decided to make a list of Gossip Girl locations in New York that you can visit while traveling in New York City.

Grand Central Terminal
The first spot on this list of Gossip Girl locations in New York is Grand Central Terminal. This is where we first see Serena in the show and also where we get the first Gossip Girl blast letting everyone know that Serena is back.
The Campbell Apartment
Next up is the Campbell Apartment. The Campbell is a restaurant bar that is actually downstairs in the Grand Central Terminal so if you’re already going to the terminal you should check out the Campbell Apartment for dinner. The reason this spot pertains to Gossip Girl is because this is where Nate and Serena hooked up and is the main reason she left for boarding school.
The Humphrey Loft
Next up is one of my favorites; the Humphrey Loft. The Humphrey Loft is located in Brooklyn and is right in front of the Manhattan Bridge. Because of this gorgeous bridge and buildings it’s a great spot for some pictures. Also, I know we all want to hang around the upper east side like they do in Gossip Girl but don’t forget that Brooklyn has some amazing places to see and is worth exploring as well.
Central Park
The next spot on this list of Gossip Girl locations in New York is Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. Central Park is such a large park and there is so much to see but, Bethesda Terrace appears in the Gossip Girl show a couple times. This is the spot where Serena and Blair make up as well as where Chuck and Blair get married which is a favorite part of mine.
The Palace Hotel
The next place to check out is the Palace Hotel also known as the Lotte New York Palace Hotel. This is a spot that was used quite often in filming. The Palace Hotel is where the Van Der Woodsen’s live and also Chuck Bass. The Palace Hotel is used a lot for filming outside the front doors in the courtyard. For example; when both Dan and Nate are waiting outside for Serena. They also filmed quite a few scenes inside for things like brunches. Also, if you’re going to be around this area you can also stay at the Palace Hotel to really feel like you’re in the show.
Nate’s Townhouse
The next location is a spot you’ll recognize from the early seasons; Nate’s Townhouse. There are quite a few episodes that feature the front of this townhouse so make sure to head over there for picture. The Archibald townhouse is located at 4 E 74th St, New York.
Empire State Building
Our next location is the Empire State Building. This is a popular tourist location and is maybe somewhere you were already planing to see. In Gossip Girl the Empire State Building is where Chuck waits for Blair so they can hopefully be together but we know the drama that unfolded with Chuck and Blair all throughout the series. Another thing you can do is check out the Top Of The Rock to get a great view of the Empire State Building.
The Empire Hotel
The next spot if the Empire Hotel. This hotel actually exists in real life too. In the series this is the hotel Chuck Bass buys in an effort to do his own thing and make it on his own without the help of his father.
The Met Steps
The Met Steps is such an iconic location in the Gossip Girl series. This is where the girls would sit and eat their yogurt and of course, no one can sit higher than Blair on the steps. If you want to see some great Gossip Girl filming locations this is a big one because of the amount of times it appears in the series.
Museum Of New York City
Another noticeable spot would be the Museum Of New York City. The entrance to the museum was used as the entrance to the high school in the show. If you’ve watched Gossip Girl then this will be a spot you will recognize very easily.
Dylan’s Candy Bar
Next location is Dylan’s Candy Bar. This isn’t a spot that is very well known in the show but it’s a huge candy store that worth seeing and getting lots of candy at.
Veselka
Another food spot you can check out is Veselka. This restaurant is Dan’s favorite spot for perogies and is also the spot where Blair and Prince Louis went on a date. Check out this restaurant and get the perogies like Dan does.
Pulitzer Fountain At The Plaza
The last spot on our list is the Pulitzer Fountain At the Plaza which is right outside central park. This is where Blair and Serena had a photo shoot in Blair’s moms clothes.
And those are all the top Gossip Girl locations in New York to check out if you’re a fan of the show. Let me know what filming location you’d like to see the most.
I’ve also created a map with each location on this list to better help you’re planning and to know when to see each place. You can click the picture of the map and you will be taken to it on Google.
