Today I will be doing another book review. This book review is for the non-fiction book There Is No F In Art by Eli Castelli.

I’m the type of person that loves to read. I’ve always loved to read fiction books and recently I’ve been loving non-fiction books as well. That’s why when Eli asked if I would like to review her book I of course was so excited!
What is Art?
This non-fiction book starts out with the question of what is art? I think the definition of art can be different to everyone. As this books states art is something that gives you a feeling. Whatever that feeling may be. Throughout this book it’s just full of great information about art as well as showing you tons of art inside as well. One of my favorite quotes included is this one: “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.” – Banksy.
Conceptual Art
This book is specifically about conceptual art. Conceptual art is something I was not aware of before reading this book. Conception art is the way of having a message be more important than the art itself. I love this idea. I think it’s such a difference than what I’m used to and now I will be looking more into the deeper meaning of art than just the art itself.
Some of the favorites of this book is the “Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills” and “Louis Moutton”. My personal favorite is Louis Moutton. I think it’s so cute that it’s a play on Louis Vuitton. The tote in the background of the picture above is actually the Louis Moutton logo made for this piece of art.
Overall
Overall I really enjoyed reading this book There Is No F In Art by Eli Castelli and looking at all the art in it. It’s definitely something different for me but I’m glad it was sent to me. I think this is a great coffee table book and I have a few friends in mind that I know would love this book.
