Welcome back to another review! Today’s post is the Tarte Mermaid Kisses Lipstick Set review. I purchased this set a few months ago and so far I’m loving it. Now let me tell you why.

Packaging
I absolutely love the packaging for this lipstick line. Also, I love the looks of the waves on the tube. It’s such a cute add on that really makes the packaging appealing. I also love that names have something to do with the ocean or vacation. The green/blue color is Sandals, the pink is Margs, the blue is Jetset, and the purple is Soaked.
Size
The size of these lipsticks is decent. When I opened them I thought they were a little small but looking at them again compared to other lipsticks they are barely smaller. I think they’re a decent size when it comes to lipsticks. Especially in this case when you get four lipsticks for this price.
Texture
I’m very much a lip balm kind of girl so anytime I use something with color I’m all about the texture and wanting to know if it’s drying. As this is a lipstick I assumed it would be drying but I really don’t think this product drys out my lips. Of course it’s a worse texture than a lip balm but that’s a given. As far as lip sticks go texture wise, as a result, I think this is a great product.
Color
The colors in this set are to die for! My favorites the darkest (Jetset) and the lightest (Margs). I find the most flattering colors on myself are dark colors and nudes. Pinks don’t look the best on me. However, I do like every one of these lipstick colors!
Tarte is one of my favorite brands! It has such great quality products and a great variety! I’ll link to of my favorites and the things on my wish list below for you guys.
