The author of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder series is Holly Jackson. Holly Jackson is a British writer in her early 30’s who writes young adult mysteries. Holly’s first book was A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder published in 2019 followed by the second and third books of the series and then 5 Survive published in 2022.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Plot
The book starts 5 years after the murder of Andie Bell. Everyone is so sure that Sal Singh did it however, Pippa Fitz-Amobi doesn’t quite agree. Pippa decides to investigate the case with Sal’s brother Ravi. Pippa starts to uncover so many secrets from so many people surrounding Andie and Sal but she wonders if she will uncover the truth she’s hoping for, or if everyone was right to blame Sal.
Book Series
The first book was so popular that Holly Jackson wrote two more books in the series. The second book is Good Girl, Bad Blood. The plot of this book is when Pippa releases a podcast for the first book but insists her detective days are behind her. That is, until someone she knows goes missing and has no choice but to help out.
The third book in the series is As Good As Dead. In this book Pippa is stating to get threats from someone online due to her podcast. Pippa starts to look into this and find similarities between the stalker and a serial killer who was caught 6 years ago. Pippa has no choice but to look into this case as she thinks she’s being followed and this person might be very dangerous.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder TV Show
The book series is so loved that there will also be a TV series on BBC. So far, the cast has been released and it’s being said that the TV show will come out in 2024. However, there are no dates available yet.
