The author of The Spanish Love Deception is Elena Armas. Elena is a Spanish romance writer  and international best seller. Elena has also written a book called The American Roommate Experiment. This is a standalone novel, however, the main character’s name is Rosie, the best friend of Catalina, the main character in The Spanish Love Deception.

The Spanish Love Deception Plot

The plot of The Spanish Love Deception revolves around Catalina Martin who moved to New York from Spain and works at an engineering firm. Things are going great until Catalina lies to her family about having an American boyfriend. Now she has to go to her sisters wedding in Spain and everyone including her ex-boyfriend will know she’s lying. Until, Catalina’s colleague Aaron Blackford overhears her and suggests he pretends to be her boyfriend in Spain. Catalina is not so sure about this plan because she’s not sure she can pull off this lie and she can’t stand her colleague Aaron. The rest of the book follows along the lie about Catalina’s American boyfriend and is a fantastic read.
