Author

I had a difficult time finding any information about Mia Summers. I couldn’t find any social media or a website for her. All I was able to find was her books on Goodreads and NetGalley. Besides Hooked On Hollywood I also received Love Interest #9 and The Reel Deal through NetGalley which I plan to read soon.

Plot

Hooked On Hollywood By Mia Summers is about a girl named Olivia Bloom who’s moved back home to her small town after discovering her fiance has cheated on her. To try and cheer her up, her friends pool their money and bid on a date for her with Ryan Jones, Olivia’s favorite actor, at an auction. The only problem is, they don’t realize that Olivia now hates Ryan Jones after seeing him yell at someone in a viral video.

Olivia goes along with the date to appease her friends but then finds out she needs to be hand cuffed to Ryan during the date. When Ryan and Olivia find out the key to free them is lost and they’re stuck with each other for the next few days, they need to learn to get along with each other but feelings start to spark between them threatening to change everything.

My Review

My opinion of this book is that it is a very cute slow burn romance. I loved Olivia and Ryan’s characters and their relationship development. If you love slow burns I would say this book is something you’d like. I also liked how moments from their childhoods were brought to the present to bring the story together.

That is the end of my Hooked On Hollywood By Mia Summers book review. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others who like slow burn books. If you read it be sure to let me know in the comments what you thought about it. If you’re looking for other books to read check out these reviews: Reminders Of Him, The Spanish Love Deception, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder and The Takeover.
