The Harry Potter book series is very widely loved across the world. I recently finished reading the entire series and thought I’d give you a review of them.

Author
The Harry Potter book series was written by the amazing author J. K. Rowling. She has an amazing imagination to come up with this entire new world with all the detail she has in it. One thing I loved about her writing is how much she had me falling in love with these characters. She’s a great writer and has some other great book series as well.
Plot
The plot of these books centers around Harry Potter. He’s known as the boy who lived because when he was a baby Lord Voldemort, the powerful wizard who killed a lot of people tried to kill Harry but he survived the killing curse. The first book is when Harry Potter learns he’s a wizard and has his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All books are exciting and include Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione in their efforts to defeat dark wizards.
Movies
When it comes to books being made into movies it sometimes concerns me that they won’t stay true to the amazing book. That’s why I was very grateful that the movies were so true to the books. The first 2 movies especially were almost exactly the same as the books. The rest of the movies were also very similar which I appreciate.

Overall I loved the Harry Portter books and the movies. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has or hasn’t seen the movies. It’s such a great story and I can see myself reading them again.
